Nevro is a global medical device company delivering comprehensive, life-changing solutions for chronic pain treatment. Their digital presence needed to accomplish something remarkably difficult: speak clearly to patients who are just learning about therapies like HFX and PDN, while simultaneously serving as a valuable resource for physician partners, and meeting the stringent legal and disclosure requirements that govern medical device marketing globally.

The complexity multiplied across regions. Each site needed to serve multiple languages and territories, each with their own legal frameworks governing what can be said, how it can be documented, and what disclosures must be displayed. And beneath all of this, Nevro needed a lead qualification and sales pipeline that would connect seamlessly to their Salesforce platform and provide detailed tracking at every step of the patient journey.

the approach

We've been working with Nevro since 2018, starting with the HFX and PDN microsites that represented one of their primary sales funnels. Our approach was to build systems that could handle complexity without exposing it to users. Custom WordPress structures using the Sage theme framework gave us the flexibility to meet legal requirements while keeping the experience feeling accessible and human.

We implemented extensive Google Tag Manager integration throughout the frontend, enabling detailed tracking of leads as they moved through the qualification process. Cloudflare CDN kept lighthouse performance and SEO scores high despite the information and image rich nature of these medical education sites. Every technical decision was made in service of the core challenge: converting patients exploring treatment options into qualified leads for Nevro's sales team

The HFX and PDN sales funnel microsites achieved that delicate balance between patient accessibility and physician utility. Clean, approachable design welcomes patients who are often in pain and seeking answers, while deeper resources serve the needs of medical professionals evaluating the therapy for their patients. The Salesforce integration captures and qualifies leads at every step, creating a seamless handoff to Nevro's sales organization.

In 2025, we expanded the partnership significantly, rebuilding Nevro's main corporate site from the ground up. The previous site had reached end of life, and we migrated everything into WordPress while creating a system of reusable, modular site blocks. This new architecture gives Nevro's team the flexibility to build and maintain pages independently while ensuring brand consistency and performance across the entire property.

The success of Nevro's digital sales funnels helped drive the company to new heights, contributing to their acquisition in 2025 by Globus Medical in a $250 million deal. Seven years of partnership. The sites consistently maintain high lighthouse performance and SEO scores despite their complexity, and the modular block system we built for the corporate site has dramatically reduced the time required to create and update pages. Most importantly, the digital funnels continue to convert patients exploring chronic pain solutions into qualified leads for Nevro's growing organization.
