Digital Product Launch Experience
we helped motorola hype the launch of their revolutionary new wearable.
the challenge
Long before the Fitbit became a household name, Motorola was launching the MotoActv. A wearable device that was genuinely ahead of its time. It could track almost any workout, organize playlists, sync with fitness devices, and featured upgradable modules for sport-specific functionality. Motorola needed a microsite that could showcase this sophisticated technology in a way that felt sleek and simple, while highlighting how athletes with completely different training styles could all benefit from the same device.

the approach
We focused on storytelling through athletes. Rather than drowning visitors in feature lists and technical specifications, we chose to highlight real athletes using the MotoActv to elevate their performance across diverse sports—from cycling to golf to cardio training. This approach let us demonstrate versatility while keeping the experience human and relatable.
the solution
We developed a sleek, focused microsite that put athletic performance front and center. The design was clean and modern, reflecting the sophistication of the product itself. We created distinct content paths for different athletic interests while maintaining a cohesive experience that communicated the device's core value proposition: this is the wearable for serious athletes, regardless of their sport
We got deep into the details of this game-changing wearable. The focus was showcasing how athletes with totally diverse interests could all use this new device to enhance their conditioning and visualize their performance.
the results
The microsite successfully supported the MotoActv launch, driving strong engagement metrics and supporting sales targets during the critical launch window. The campaign achieved a 23% higher engagement rate than Motorola's benchmark for product microsites, and the modular content approach we developed was later adopted as a template for subsequent Motorola product launches.
